Samsung Galaxy S27 series leaks reveal charging speeds and new design

Leaked certification data from China’s 3C authority provides early details regarding Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S27 series, expected in early 2027. The leaks reveal significant variations in charging speeds and design across the four anticipated models.

The Galaxy S27 Pro and Galaxy S27 Ultra are both certified for 60W wired charging, matching the capabilities of the previous Ultra model. In contrast, the standard Galaxy S27 is listed at 25W, and the Galaxy S27+ is noted at 45W. Notably, Samsung continues its policy of not including power adapters in the retail packaging.

Design leaks suggest a major aesthetic shift for the high-end models. The S27 Pro and S27 Ultra may move away from individual vertical lens cutouts in favor of a large, horizontal matrix-style camera element. This new layout is expected to provide better thermal management and space for larger sensors, though significant megapixel upgrades remain unconfirmed. The S27 Pro appears to be a new addition to the lineup, offering high-end camera hardware in a more compact form factor without the requirement of an S-Pen.
