Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra camera specifications leaked
Recent leaks regarding the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra suggest the flagship may retain its current telephoto hardware rather than undergoing a major sensor overhaul. While previous rumors indicated a shift to a 4x optical zoom with a 1/1.9″ sensor, new reports suggest Samsung will continue using a 5x optical zoom telephoto camera, potentially utilizing a 50MP Sony sensor.
The device is expected to feature a 50MP ultrawide camera and a 200MP main sensor. There are also indications of an upgrade to the front-facing camera, which may move from a 12MP sensor to a 16MP sensor with autofocus.
Technical specifications for the S27 Ultra may also include Samsung’s M16 OLED panel. Depending on the region, the chipset could vary between the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro and Samsung’s own Exynos 2700 chip. A more compact Galaxy S27 Pro model is also anticipated, likely featuring a 12MP 3x telephoto sensor to accommodate its smaller dimensions.
