Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra may skip LPDDR6 RAM and UFS 5.0 storage upgrades

South Korean tipster Lanzuk reported that Samsung could exclude major memory upgrades from the upcoming Galaxy S27 Ultra. Specifically, the device may not receive LPDDR6 RAM or UFS 5.0 storage, upgrades that were previously expected for flagship models. The change is attributed to concerns over increased production costs and price, as Samsung reevaluates its hardware specifications for the new phone.

Earlier rumors in April had suggested the S27 Ultra would include these upgrades, but the latest information indicates a reversal of that plan.
