Samsung Galaxy smartphone explodes in user's pocket in India
A Samsung Galaxy smartphone reportedly exploded while in a user's pocket in Greater Noida, India, causing burns to the man's hands and legs. The victim, identified in social media reports as Majid, had purchased the device approximately one month prior to the incident.
Photos shared on social media show severe thermal damage to the device, including a charred battery compartment and a partially melted back panel. While the exact model has not been officially confirmed, the camera layout suggests the device may be a Galaxy S26. This incident follows other reported malfunctions involving Galaxy flagship models earlier this year.
