Samsung Galaxy T1 earbud model receives FCC certification
Samsung is expanding its audio lineup with the Galaxy T1, an ear-hook style sports earbud, which has officially received FCC certification in the United States. The device, identified by model number SM-R545, has also previously cleared regulatory hurdles in China, South Korea, and Indonesia.
Technical specifications revealed in the certification documents include a 63mAh battery for each earbud and a 595mAh battery for the charging case. Laboratory tests indicate a Bluetooth connection range exceeding 14.5 meters. The ear-hook design is intended to provide a secure fit during physical activity.
While Samsung has not officially confirmed the final retail name or pricing, industry speculation suggests the Galaxy T1 may launch in early 2027 alongside the Galaxy S27 series. Additionally, a rumored over-ear headphone model, potentially named Galaxy Studio, has also received certification in Indonesia.
