Samsung Galaxy Tab S12 series clears Bluetooth certification

Samsung’s upcoming flagship tablets, the Galaxy Tab S12+ and Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra, have cleared Bluetooth SIG certification. This regulatory milestone indicates that hardware development is likely entering its final stages.

The certification covers both Wi-Fi and cellular configurations for both models. Model numbers identified include the SM-X840 and SM-X846B for the Tab S12+, and the SM-X940 and SM-X946B for the Tab S12 Ultra. The Plus model is expected to have a wider variety of regional cellular variants, with some versions potentially limited to markets such as the United States, South Korea, and Europe.

This development follows a series of previous milestones in 2026, including IMEI database listings and FCC and BIS filings. Samsung has previously indicated that the Tab S12 series is planned for release during the second half of 2026.
