Samsung prepares Galaxy S26 FE launch and S27 Ultra redesign
Samsung is preparing for two major product cycles. The Galaxy S26 FE is set to launch in Argentina in early October, featuring the 3nm Exynos 2500 processor, an 8GB RAM configuration, and a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED display. This model aims to provide a premium experience with Galaxy AI and enhanced camera capabilities at a more accessible price point.
Looking further ahead to 2027, leaks regarding the Galaxy S27 series suggest significant hardware shifts. The Galaxy S27 Ultra is rumored to undergo a major camera redesign, potentially moving to a horizontal camera island layout similar to previous flagship designs. Leaked protective cases have sparked debate over the placement of the telephoto lens, LED flash, and the potential relocation of the Laser Autofocus sensor.
Technical rumors for the S27 Ultra include a 5700mAh battery with 60W wired charging, a 200MP main sensor, and up to 16GB of RAM in its top-tier 1TB storage version. Some reports also suggest new privacy features, such as a smart screen-splitting technology to hide sensitive data from onlookers.
