Samsung Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra leak details new chip and notch design

Leaked renders of Samsung’s upcoming flagship tablet, identified as the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra, show a design almost identical to the current Tab S11 Ultra, including the same shallow central display notch, dual rear cameras, magnetic S Pen charging strip and keyboard connector. The device measures 326.34 × 208.46 × 5.12 mm, retaining a 14.6‑inch, 120 Hz Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel and an 11,600 mAh battery with 45 W charging.

The leak suggests the tablet will be powered by MediaTek’s flagship Dimensity 9500 3 nm processor, paired with at least 12 GB of RAM, 256 GB of storage, Wi‑Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, quad speakers, IP68 protection and an included S Pen. Android 17 with One UI 9 is expected. Analysts note the notch marks a departure from Samsung’s previous tablet designs and debate whether it is justified by front‑facing sensors or biometric hardware that cannot fit in a punch‑hole or bezel‑less layout. The renders remain unverified and Samsung has not commented.
