Samsung Galaxy Watch 9 and Ultra 2 leak new health‑tracking features ahead of July Unpacked

Leaks ahead of Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked event reveal that the upcoming Galaxy Watch 9 and Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 will focus on expanded health monitoring. New software features include a “Heart Health Score” that analyses sleep, stress and activity, ambient‑noise measurements to warn of prolonged exposure, and a “Vitals Score” that combines heart‑rate, HRV, respiratory rate, skin temperature and blood‑oxygen data.

Design-wise, the Watch 9 retains the squircle case of its predecessor with 40 mm and 44 mm sizes in Cream, Graphite, and Silver, while the Ultra 2 adopts a slightly squarer shape in Titanium Grey and Silver Titanium. Both models will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Wear Elite processor, promising better performance and battery efficiency. Connectivity options include Bluetooth and LTE for the Watch 9 and added Wi‑Fi for the Ultra 2. The devices are expected to launch at the Galaxy Unpacked press event scheduled for late July 2026.
