Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 confirmed with larger battery and upcoming launch
Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 has been confirmed ahead of the next Galaxy Unpacked event. Leaked specifications suggest a 30% larger 784 mAh battery, up from the current 590 mAh, making it one of the biggest Wear OS batteries. The device is expected to charge at 10 W and may run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Wear Elite processor, which promises faster performance and AI features.
The Galaxy Watch 9 also received a 3C certification for its battery and charging system for the Chinese market, signalling that the launch is imminent. Both watches are anticipated to be unveiled alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Z Flip 8 later this month, with pricing likely near the €699 range of the previous Ultra model.
