Samsung unveils Galaxy S27 Ultra with 5700 mAh silicon‑carbon battery and 200 MP camera
Samsung is preparing to launch its next flagship, the Galaxy S27 Ultra. The device will feature a silicon‑carbon (Si‑C) battery with a capacity of 5,700 mAh, a move aimed at ending the brand's long‑standing battery‑life complaints. It will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro processor, paired with 12–16 GB of RAM and LPDDR5X/UFS 4.0 storage. The camera system is set to include a 200 MP primary sensor, three 50 MP auxiliary lenses and a 5× optical zoom telephoto module, all housed behind a rectangular island design. The phone will sport a 6.9‑inch 1440p AMOLED display.
The related Galaxy S27 Pro is expected to share the 200 MP main sensor but will use a smaller 1.2 MP telephoto lens with 3× optical zoom, balancing performance and size.
