Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra users report bezel detachment issues

Samsung is facing reports of hardware issues regarding the Galaxy Watch Ultra. Users have noted instances where the bezel and front faceplate detach from the watch casing without obvious signs of impact or damage. Some owners have reported being charged nearly $300 for repairs, despite initial indications that the issues might be covered under warranty.

In separate software developments, Samsung is rolling out a beta update for the Galaxy Watch 8 to fix an error where the Always On Display showed the incorrect time. Additionally, a critical August 2026 security patch is being distributed for the Galaxy S23 series, including the S23, S23 Plus, and S23 Ultra, to improve device stability and security.
