Samsung's latest foldable smartphone lineup is seeing regional variations in hardware and market availability. In Malaysia, the Galaxy Z Flip8 is powered by the 2nm Exynos 2600 processor, a shift from the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 used in other global markets. The device features a 4.1-inch FlexWindow cover screen, a 6.9-inch main display, and a 4,300mAh battery. It is priced at RM5,399 for the 256GB model.
In Japan, the Galaxy Z Flip7 is available on Amazon with a 7% discount, bringing the price of the 256GB model to approximately 152,842 yen. The Flip7 includes a 4.1-inch cover screen capable of running AI functions while closed, a 50MP main camera, and a 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a variable refresh rate of 1–120Hz.
