Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra rolls out major camera, display and design upgrades

Tech reviewers highlight Samsung’s foldable flagship as the leading choice in the expanding market of bendable smartphones. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 is praised for its durability, performance and high‑end features, while competitors such as the Google Pixel Fold offer strong camera quality at lower price points.

The upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra adds several hardware refinements. It introduces a new 24 MP photo mode integrated into the stock camera app, sharper displays with 432 ppi on the cover screen and 403 ppi on the main screen, and a lighter chassis at 215 g. Fast‑charging capacity is boosted to 45 W, and Samsung unveils a carbon‑fiber standing case accessory. Despite these enhancements, the company projects sales of 5–6 million units, a dip from the previous generation’s combined figures.
