Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra specs: 5000 mAh battery, 4.1 mm thickness
Samsung announced the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, the direct successor to the Z Fold 7. The new model retains the 215 g weight of its predecessor but upgrades the battery to 5000 mAh, enabling faster 45 W wired charging compared with the previous 25 W. The device’s folded thickness is reduced to a record‑low 4.1 mm, while the display size and overall dimensions stay unchanged.
Powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, the phone will ship with 16 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of storage. Samsung plans to reveal the Z Fold 8 Ultra, alongside a lighter Z Fold 8 model, at its Galaxy Unpacked event expected around 22 July, targeting the high‑end foldable market.
