Samsung hosts SAFE Forum 2026 to Boost AI Semiconductor Ecosystem in South Korea

Samsung Electronics convened the SAFE Forum 2026 at its Seoul headquarters, drawing over 400 customers and partners. The event outlined Samsung’s AI semiconductor roadmap, including the 2‑nanometer process, Design‑Technology Co‑Optimization (DTCO), and enhanced SRAM technology aimed at improving power, performance and area. Participants featured AI fabless firm Rebellion, Siemens EDA and other 21 partners showcasing design‑automation, IP and advanced packaging solutions. Samsung highlighted its Multi‑Project Wafer program and collaborations with the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy to foster a domestic system‑semiconductor ecosystem. The forum follows a prior SAFE Forum held in the United States on May 28, reinforcing Samsung’s strategy to position itself as a central hub for AI and high‑performance computing chip development.
