Samsung introduces advanced display technologies for digital art
Samsung is implementing advanced display technologies designed to replicate the visual quality of museum-grade fine art in home environments. To address the optical challenges of displaying paintings—such as subtle color transitions, brushstroke textures, and glare—the company utilizes several specialized hardware solutions.
Micro RGB technology employs microscopic red, green, and blue LEDs to achieve 100% coverage of the BT.2020 color space, ensuring depth and color richness. For high contrast and deep blacks, OLED series models utilize self-lit pixels, while the S95H model features the NQ4 AI Gen3 processor and Pantone Validated ArtfulColor certification to accurately render over 2,140 colors. Additionally, Glare Free technology is used to disperse sunlight and prevent reflections.
For bright living spaces, Neo QLED and Mini LED models provide high brightness levels. The Neo QLED QN80H utilizes Quantum Mini LED technology and quantum dots to maintain color intensity, while the Mini LED M80H uses the NQ4 AI Gen2 processor for precise backlight control and enhanced contrast.
