Samsung introduces Galaxy Watch9 and Watch Ultra2 with advanced health tracking
Samsung has released the Galaxy Watch Ultra2 and Galaxy Watch9, positioning them as proactive health companions. These devices utilize the BioActive Sensor to provide continuous heart rate monitoring and heart rate variability (HRV) insights.
The wearables include several specialized metrics, such as an Energy Score that assesses physical readiness based on sleep and activity, and Daily Cardio Load to monitor cumulative heart strain. The Vitals feature tracks key biological signals against a personal baseline during sleep to alert users of significant shifts.
For long-term wellness, the devices offer body composition analysis—measuring muscle, body fat, and body water—and an AGEs Index to monitor metabolic health. Additionally, a Heart Health Score integrates sleep, activity, and body metrics to provide a comprehensive view of cardiovascular health.
