Samsung launches compact Galaxy S26 and S26+ flagships

Samsung unveiled its latest Galaxy S26 lineup, comprising the flagship Galaxy S26 Ultra, the slightly larger Galaxy S26+, and the compact Galaxy S26. All three models retain premium design, long‑lasting batteries and AI‑driven software such as Photo Assist, Audio Eraser and Auto Framing. The S26 and S26+ target one‑hand use with lighter bodies, while the Ultra adds a higher‑resolution sensor and an extra telephoto lens for superior detail and HDR performance.

Camera tests show the Ultra delivers noticeably sharper images and more accurate HDR balance compared with its siblings, especially in textured or high‑contrast scenes. The S26 and S26+ still produce good quality photos, but the Ultra preserves finer details and offers better low‑light handling, confirming Samsung’s tiered approach within the same series.
