Samsung launches Galaxy A18 LTE in multiple markets
Samsung Electronics has released the Galaxy A18 LTE, a mid-range smartphone, in several international markets including South Korea, Indonesia, and Spain. The device features a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display, a 50MP main camera, and a 5,000mAh battery.
Key software features include Google Gemini AI integration and Circle to Search capabilities. In South Korea, the device is priced at approximately 425,700 won. In Indonesia, the phone is marketed toward young users with a focus on content creation and AI-driven productivity. In Europe, the model has been noted for its long-term software support, with promises of six major updates extending through 2032.
This launch coincides with reports that Samsung maintained its position as the world leader in smartphone shipments during the third quarter, despite a 20% global decline in total market shipments. Analysts attribute Samsung's resilience to the performance of its Galaxy A series and premium Z series models.
