Samsung launches Galaxy Glasses and upgrades Galaxy S27 camera system

Samsung is preparing to expand its hardware lineup with two new products. Leaked details show the company developing Galaxy Glasses that run on Android XR, feature a square‑rounded lens design, a side‑mounted camera, an LED privacy indicator, and physical controls on the temple. The glasses rely on voice commands, on‑device AI and integration with the Galaxy Ring and Watch, using One UI XR and Samsung’s Gemini AI to interpret the visual scene.

In parallel, Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S27 flagship smartphones will receive a refreshed camera suite. The premium S27 Pro and S27 Ultra models are expected to upgrade the front‑facing sensor from 12 MP to 16 MP, while rear‑camera updates include a 50 MP telephoto lens with 3.5× optical zoom on the Pro, and a re‑configuration of the Ultra’s telephoto system.
