Samsung launches Galaxy Jump 5 smartphone in South Korea

Samsung introduced the Galaxy Jump 5, a rebranded version of the Galaxy A27, for exclusive sale through the KT mobile network in South Korea. The device features a 6.7‑inch Super AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor, 6 GB RAM, 128 GB storage and a triple‑camera system topped by a 50 MP main sensor with optical image stabilization. It runs Android 16 with One UI 8.5 and is rated IP64 for water and dust resistance.

The phone is priced at KRW 545,600 (about $353) and will be available from July 3, 2026 in Black, Light Green and Light Pink. Early buyers receive promotional items, including free Galaxy Buds 3 FE earbuds for the first 500 pre‑orders, KakaoPay points, a 7 % service‑fee discount for 24 months, and gift packages for the first 10,000 purchasers. Additional incentives such as power banks and subscription services are offered to customers who activate the device by early July.
