Samsung launches Galaxy S26 FE with advanced AI features

Samsung has released the Galaxy S26 FE, a more affordable model within its flagship S26 lineup. The device features a 6.7-inch display, similar in size to the Galaxy S26+, and is powered by the Exynos 2500 chipset.

Key features include advanced AI capabilities through Samsung’s OneUI 9, which is based on Android 17. This includes ‘Now Nudge,’ an agent-style AI that suggests actions like adding calendar events or opening maps based on on-screen context. The device also supports Google’s Gemini AI and includes photo editing tools like ‘Photo Assist’ and the ‘My FanCam’ video generation feature.

The hardware includes a triple camera system with a 50MP wide lens, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and an 8MP telephoto lens. It is built with an aluminum alloy frame, offers IP68 dust and water resistance, and is available in Graphite, Pistachio, and Blueberry colors. While released in international markets, there has been no official announcement regarding its availability in Japan.
