Samsung launches Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 and Galaxy Watch9

Samsung has introduced its latest wearable technology, featuring the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 and the Galaxy Watch9. These devices are designed to integrate advanced health tracking into daily life through the Samsung Health platform.

The Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 is positioned as a rugged device for adventurers, offering high durability with 10ATM, IP69K, and EN13319 ratings, making it functional for activities such as diving up to 40 meters. It includes specialized features like Trail Run mode for tracking elevation and terrain, and a Nutrition Alert system that estimates sweat loss to provide hydration guidance.

The Galaxy Watch9 focuses on a lightweight design with an aluminum casing, suitable for continuous wear. Both models utilize the BioActive Sensor to provide insights into sleep apnea, cardiovascular wellness via a Heart Health Score, and personal health baselines through the Vitals feature. The hardware is powered by the Snapdragon Wear Elite platform, with displays reaching up to 3,000 nits for outdoor visibility.
