Samsung launches Micro RGB TV lineup with R95H flagship

Samsung has introduced its first Micro RGB TV lineup, featuring the flagship R95H and the R85H models. This new technology utilizes thousands of microscopic red, green, and blue LEDs for backlighting, allowing for enhanced color precision, brightness, and contrast. The technology aims to achieve 100% coverage of the BT. 2020 color gamut.

The R95H flagship model is equipped with the Micro RGB AI Pro processor, featuring 128 neural networks, and offers advanced gaming capabilities including support for up to 165 Hz at 4K resolution when connected to a compatible PC. It includes features such as Samsung Gaming Hub, FreeSync Premium Pro, and four HDMI 2.1 ports.

The R85H model serves as a more accessible option, utilizing 20 neural networks and supporting HDR10+. While reviews indicate that the R95H provides brilliant picture quality and is highly effective for gaming, it may still face competition from elite OLED models regarding absolute black levels and the absence of Dolby Vision.
