Samsung launches videocast exploring South Korean culture in Latin America
Samsung has launched ‘K-Connection’, an itinerant videocast exploring the expansion of South Korean culture, known as Hallyu, across five Latin American countries: Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, and Guatemala.
Presented by content creator Kev Lehmann in partnership with Cheil Brasil, the series features 13 guests discussing various cultural expressions. The episodes cover specific themes per region: K-Dramas in Brazil, K-Care (beauty and skincare) in Chile, K-Dance in Colombia, the influence of K-Pop fandoms in Mexico, and K-Food in Guatemala.
The series highlights the deep connection between Latin American audiences and Korean cultural phenomena, ranging from music and dance to gastronomy and lifestyle. The content is available on YouTube and Samsung TV Plus in Portuguese, Spanish, and English.
