Samsung maintains global soundbar market leadership

Samsung has maintained its position as the global market leader in soundbar sales for the twelfth consecutive year. According to market research firm Futuresource, Samsung held a 19.7 percent share of sales volume in 2025.

While Samsung leads in volume, independent testing highlights different performance leaders. The JBL Bar 500Mk2 was rated highly for its virtual Dolby Atmos sound and clear voice reproduction. In contrast, specific Samsung models like the HW-Q935GF have been noted for high performance and value, featuring a 17-speaker 9.1.4-channel setup, though some models lack 120-Hz 4K passthrough.
