Samsung phones in Poland lose Android 17 support, spurring upgrade options and low‑price deals

Samsung announced that several popular Galaxy models sold in Poland – including the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S21 FE and Galaxy A53 5G – will not receive the Android 17 update with One UI 9.0. The lack of future software support is prompting owners to consider newer Samsung flagships such as the upcoming Galaxy S25 or S26, or to look at competing devices like Xiaomi's flagship or the iPhone 16.

Meanwhile, Orange Poland launched a promotion that halves the price of the Galaxy A57 when purchased with a two‑year contract. The discounted phone costs 1 080 zł compared with the regular 2 099 zł price, with optional installment plans and unlimited data and calls in the EU included in the bundle.
