Samsung previews bone‑conduction Galaxy Able earbuds and launches One UI 9 updates for Galaxy M34 and M36

A leak in the Galaxy‑Wearable app code revealed a new Samsung headphone concept called Galaxy Able. The device would use bone‑conduction technology, attaching the earbuds to the outer ear rather than the ear canal, allowing users to hear ambient sound while listening. The design resembles other open‑ear models and suggests Samsung may enter the niche market currently served by brands such as Bose, Anker and Shokz.

Separately, Samsung announced that its low‑cost Galaxy M34 and M36 smartphones will receive the upcoming One UI 9.0 update, based on Android 17. The update brings enhanced quick‑settings customization, improvements to DeX, Game Booster and Samsung Notes, and marks the final major OS upgrade for the M34 while the M36 will continue to receive several more updates.
