Samsung Previews Galaxy Watch 9 Battery and Z Fold 8 Wide Features
South Korean electronics giant Samsung is preparing to launch several new devices at its event slated for July 22. Leaked details show the upcoming Galaxy Watch 9 series will offer a 40 mm model with a 382 mAh battery—marketed as roughly 400 mAh and about 23 % larger than the previous model—and a 44 mm version equipped with a 435 mAh battery and 10 W wireless charging, alongside expected health‑monitoring upgrades.
The company also outlined specifications for the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide. The device will feature sharper displays with 432 ppi on the cover screen and 403 ppi on the inner foldable panel, a tablet‑like 4:3 aspect ratio for the inner screen, and a 120 Hz refresh rate on both panels. Power is provided by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, promising fast performance and efficiency. Camera hardware includes a 50 MP main sensor, a 50 MP ultrawide sensor, and 10 MP front cameras on both displays, while battery life and fast‑charging capabilities remain a focus.
