Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear Elite chip benchmarked for Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra 2
Qualcomm's first Snapdragon Wear Elite processor, codenamed Vienna, was tested on a device with 4 GB RAM running Android 16. Geekbench results show a five‑core CPU (one Cortex‑A78C at 2.11 GHz and four Cortex‑A55 at 1.96 GHz) delivering 573 single‑core and 1,069 multi‑core points, roughly 54 % and 56 % higher than Samsung's Exynos W1000. The integrated Adreno 622 GPU scored 1,459 in compute tests, about 47 % above the Mali‑G68 in the Exynos. These figures suggest the Wear Elite could markedly improve responsiveness, graphics performance, and power efficiency in future wearables, including the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 if Samsung adopts the chip. The 3 nm design emphasizes high performance with low power draw, potentially extending battery life and enabling richer health‑monitoring and AI features.
