Samsung QD-OLED S95H Crowned Winner of 2026 Value Electronics TV Shootout

Value Electronics, an independent audio‑video retailer in New York, held its annual TV Shootout evaluation, pitting six flagship televisions against one another in OLED and Micro‑RGB LCD categories. The panel of professional calibrators and technology journalists tested three OLED models – Samsung's QD‑OLED S95H, Sony's Bravia 8 II (XR80M2) and LG's G6 – and three Micro‑RGB LCD models – Samsung's R95H, Sony's XR90M2 and LG's MRGB95B – using calibrated SDR and HDR test patterns.

Samsung's 65‑inch QD‑OLED S95H achieved the highest combined score of 9.3, surpassing Sony's 8.0 and LG's 7.0, and was declared the 2026 "King of OLED TV." In the Micro‑RGB LCD segment, Sony’s 75‑inch Bravia 9 II led with a score of 7.9, while Samsung placed second. The results mark Samsung ending LG's seven‑year dominance in OLED rankings and highlight the competitive progress of OLED technology.

Judges evaluated colour accuracy, HDR performance, shadow detail, processing and motion handling with reference to professional BVM monitors and scenes from films such as "1917" and "The Batman."
