Samsung has implemented its first price increase for the Galaxy A37 and Galaxy A57 5G smartphones in the Indian market. According to leaked retailer communications, the price adjustments went into effect on August 22, 2026.
The Galaxy A37 5G saw increases ranging from INR 2,000 to INR 5,000 across its three memory variants. The Galaxy A57 5G experienced similar hikes, with the 12GB+256GB model increasing by INR 5,000 to reach a new price of INR 67,499.
Industry analysts suggest these adjustments may be driven by a component crisis, specifically involving shortages in DRAM and NAND flash memory.
