Samsung has confirmed that its next Galaxy Unpacked event will take place on 22 July 2026 in London. The company is expected to launch three new foldable smartphones – the Galaxy Z Flip 8, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and a higher‑end Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra – with the Fold 8 featuring a shorter, wider “wide” design and the Ultra model offering an even larger screen and a new hinge that reduces the visible crease. Leaked renders show the Fold 8 and Flip 8 in Cream, Graphite, Pink and possibly Mint colorways, with the Fold 8 Ultra adopting a novel form factor. Samsung will also debut the Galaxy Watch 9 and Watch Ultra 2, and may showcase its first AI‑enabled smart glasses running Android XR with Gemini. The company is offering a $30 reservation credit for U.S. customers who pre‑order, alongside larger promotional discounts. Technical details include the Fold 8 being powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy (with Exynos variants possible in other regions), a 4,800 mAh battery, fast‑charging, and upgraded camera specs. The event will be streamed live on Samsung’s website and YouTube.
