Samsung Galaxy Watch 9 and Ultra 2 price hike announced ahead of July launch

Samsung is set to unveil its next‑generation smartwatches at the Galaxy Unpacked event in London on July 22. Leaked information shows the Galaxy Watch 9 will start at €409 for the 40 mm Bluetooth‑only model, with the larger 44 mm version priced at €439. LTE‑enabled versions add roughly €30‑€50. The Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 is expected to launch at €749 and will be offered only with LTE.

Both devices are rumored to run Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Wear Elite processors, ship with 2 GB RAM, and offer 32 GB (Watch 9) or 64 GB (Ultra 2) of internal storage. Battery capacities increase to 325 mAh (40 mm Watch 9), 445 mAh (44 mm Watch 9) and 800 mAh for the Ultra 2. Additional upgrades include Bluetooth 6.0, dual‑band Wi‑Fi, NFC, and water‑resistance ratings of 5 ATM for the Watch 9 (aluminium case) and up to 100 m for the Ultra 2 (titanium case). The price lifts represent a €30‑€50 increase over the previous generation, reflecting the new hardware and LTE functionality.
