Samsung releases security update for Galaxy S23 and S24 series

Samsung is rolling out a global software update for several generations of its premium smartphones, specifically targeting the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S24 series. The update includes the September 2026 security patch, which addresses 90 known system vulnerabilities to improve data security and system stability.

The update is available for various models within these series:

- Galaxy S23, S23 Plus, and S23 Ultra (download size approximately 560 MB). - Galaxy S24, S24 Plus, and S24 Ultra (download size approximately 450 MB). - Galaxy S24 FE (download size approximately 438 MB).

This specific patch focuses exclusively on security corrections and does not include the One UI 9.0 interface based on Android 17. For the Galaxy S23 series, Samsung has confirmed that the One UI 9.0 update is expected by October 2026, which will serve as the final major operating system upgrade for those models.
