Samsung research reveals consumer smartphone preferences in Europe
A new Samsung research study reveals that consumers in selected European countries often choose smartphones based on their personal ambitions and lifestyle goals. Approximately 66% of survey participants selected their current device with at least one specific interest in mind, such as gaming, travel, content creation, or entertainment.
Key findings indicate that 46% of users consider their future ambitions when making technology choices, while 24% state their decisions are shaped by the life they wish to lead. Additionally, 28% of respondents chose a smartphone to better reflect their personal style.
Despite these high aspirations, daily functional issues remain significant pain points. The study highlights that 36% of users are frustrated by frequent battery charging requirements. Other common grievances include difficulties with multitasking, with 18% frustrated by the need to constantly switch between apps, and 14% reporting insufficient screen space.
