Samsung rolls out AI TV upgrades in Singapore and StreamPass in MENA
Samsung Electronics Singapore unveiled its 2026 home‑entertainment lineup, adding the Vision AI Companion – an AI layer that combines Bixby, Perplexity and Microsoft Copilot – to a broader range of TV models, including Micro RGB, OLED, Neo QLED and Mini LED. The company highlighted AI‑enhanced features such as AI Upscaling Pro, AI Football Mode Pro and AI Sound Controller Pro, and noted certifications for eye‑safety and circadian‑rhythm display. "As home entertainment evolves, consumers are looking beyond picture quality and sound," said Patrick Khor, Head of Visual Display at Samsung Singapore.
In the Middle East and North Africa, Samsung Electronics MENA introduced StreamPass, an integrated subscription that aggregates premium over‑the‑top services – OSN+, STARZPLAY, Watchit, Yango Play and Anghami – directly into Samsung TVs, Soundbars and Frame displays. StreamPass is offered in three tiers (Premium, Art, Sound) delivering up to four VOD partners and music playlists. Mustafa Sadick, Head of Visual Display Business for Samsung MENA, said the service "gives customers immediate access to premium content from the moment of purchase".
