Electronics manufacturers announce major TV discounts and new hardware

Major electronics retailers and manufacturers are announcing significant discounts and new product launches. During Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days, several high-end television models have seen substantial price reductions. Hisense is offering up to $2,000 off its U7 series Mini-LED TVs, with models ranging from 55 to 100 inches. Sony’s BRAVIA XR8C OLED models have also seen price cuts of over $900. Other notable deals include TCL’s Mini-LED series and LG’s OLED models at various retailers.

In terms of new hardware, Redmi has launched the Mini-LED TV 2027 Competition Edition. This model features an RGB-Mini LED backlight, a native 180Hz refresh rate that can reach 360Hz in competition mode, and a peak brightness of 1,300 nits. The device is designed with eye protection features and is available in multiple sizes, including 55, 65, 75, and 85 inches.

Additionally, Amazon is discounting its Fire TV ecosystem, with reductions of up to 60% on various Fire TV Stick models and the Fire TV Cube. Discounts also extend to Echo Show smart displays, with some models seeing price drops of up to 66%.
