Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra design and camera specs still undecided

Several Korean leaks indicate that Samsung has not finalized the design of its upcoming Galaxy S27 Ultra. The company is weighing multiple rear‑camera island layouts, none of which feature the simple horizontal three‑camera arrangement previously rumored. One scenario suggests keeping the existing vertical island but dropping one lens, which would leave the Ultra looking closer to the S26 series.

A separate report says the Galaxy S27 Pro will receive a reduced camera set compared with the Ultra, lacking the periscope 5x telephoto module and using fewer shared components. Both models are expected to retain a 200 MP main sensor and a 16 MP front camera.

In addition, Samsung has confirmed that the upcoming flagship line will abandon titanium frames in favor of aluminum alloy, citing production cost and manufacturing complexity. The material shift follows a similar move by a competitor and is expected to lower device prices.

These mixed rumors highlight that Samsung’s flagship slate remains in early development, with final specifications and design details still pending official confirmation.
