Samsung targets iPhone users with new campaign and faces potential Galaxy S26 price hikes

Samsung has launched a new marketing campaign titled ‘Switchers’ aimed at encouraging iPhone users to transition to the Galaxy ecosystem. The campaign utilizes a theatrical ‘couples therapy’ concept featuring celebrities such as Ciara Miller, Dylan Efron, and former NFL players Clay Matthews and Nick Foles. The advertisements address common barriers to switching, such as the ‘green bubble’ messaging issue, by highlighting the benefits of RCS (Rich Communication Services) and improved file-sharing capabilities.

Separately, reports indicate that Samsung may increase the retail prices of its upcoming Galaxy S26 series. This potential price hike, which could reach approximately 100 euros depending on the model and memory configuration, is reportedly driven by rising memory component costs. These price adjustments are expected to begin in South Korea before expanding to other global markets, potentially starting in October 2026.
