Samsung to fix Galaxy S26 Ultra red screen tint via software update
Samsung has addressed reports regarding a red tint and reddish spots appearing on the screens of the Galaxy S26 Ultra. While users initially feared a hardware defect, the manufacturer has confirmed the issue is software-related.
Samsung indicated that the discoloration may be linked to specific conditions, such as exposure to very bright light while the screen brightness is set to maximum. To resolve the issue, the company is notifying users through the Samsung Members app and plans to release a software update that will allow for automatic screen calibration.
As an alternative to the upcoming update, customers can also visit physical Samsung stores to receive a free repair/calibration.
