Samsung to unveil three foldable smartphones, Z Flip8 limited to 25 W charging
Samsung is preparing to launch three new foldable smartphones at its Unpacked event scheduled for the end of July in London. The lineup includes the Galaxy Z Fold8 and Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, which are expected to support fast charging of up to 45 W, and the Galaxy Z Flip8, whose recent SGS certification confirms it will retain 25 W fast‑charging, offering no improvement over its predecessor.
The Flip8 is also rumored to be the final model in Samsung’s Z Flip series. It will weigh about 180 g, house an Exynos 2600 processor with 12 GB of RAM, and run One UI 9 on Android 17. The Fold8 models are anticipated to feature a new hinge mechanism, a higher‑capacity battery and an upgraded camera system, while the Ultra variant will target power users with the higher‑rate charging capability.
