Samsung unveils budget Galaxy M67 and A08 smartphones

Samsung confirmed that the upcoming Galaxy M67 will incorporate the Exynos 2200 processor, the same chip used in the Galaxy S22 and S23 FE flagships. The test unit measured 1,435 single‑core and 3,744 multi‑core points on Geekbench, runs Android 17 with 8 GB RAM and features an Xclipse 920 GPU. Other specifications such as display, cameras and battery have not been disclosed, and the model appears to be targeted at the South Korean market, though wider release is possible.

Separately, Samsung’s Galaxy A08 has been certified by the Wi‑Fi Alliance and India’s BIS, confirming its development under the code SM‑A085F/DS. The device is expected to ship with One UI 9.0 on Android 17 and will likely follow the modest specs of its predecessor, the Galaxy A07, including a MediaTek Helio G99 processor, a 6.74‑inch HD+ 90 Hz LCD, a 5,000 mAh battery with 25 W charging, a 50 MP rear sensor and IP54 protection. The A08 continues Samsung’s strategy of extending lower‑priced smartphones with incremental upgrades.
