Samsung unveils new AI features for Bespoke AI home ecosystem

Samsung has introduced new artificial intelligence capabilities for its Bespoke AI ecosystem, focusing on proactive home automation and intuitive user experiences. During the first Brazilian edition of 'Samsung The Brief', executives highlighted how AI-integrated appliances are moving beyond simple remote control to learning user habits to simplify daily routines.

A significant software update is scheduled for late September, which will bring new features to both new releases and eligible existing devices. This update includes integration with Gemini, which will enhance the capabilities of appliances like the Bespoke AI RF29D Family Hub refrigerator, allowing it to identify almost any food item via camera to suggest recipes and track expiration dates.

The ecosystem, managed through the SmartThings platform, aims to optimize resource usage, such as energy, water, and detergent in washing machines. Samsung executives noted that the Brazilian market shows a particularly high appetite for adopting these advanced technological features compared to more conservative markets.
