Samsung unveils Odyssey 2027 gaming monitor lineup at Gamescom

At Gamescom 2026 in Cologne, Germany, Samsung Electronics unveiled its new Odyssey 2027 line of gaming monitors, featuring significant advancements in refresh rates and display technology.

A primary highlight is the Odyssey G6 (G60H), a 27-inch Fast IPS monitor capable of reaching a record 1,100 Hz refresh rate at HD resolution, or 600 Hz at QHD resolution. The lineup also includes several new OLED models utilizing fifth-generation QD-OLED panels with Penta Tandem technology, which offers improved efficiency and lifespan.

Key models include the 49-inch Odyssey OLED G9, which features a 360 Hz refresh rate at DQHD resolution and a dual-mode capability reaching 720 Hz at Dual HD. The 32-inch Odyssey OLED G8 offers triple-mode support, allowing users to switch between UHD (360 Hz), QHD (520 Hz), and FHD (680 Hz). Additionally, Samsung introduced a 42-inch Odyssey OLED G7 with a 1000R curvature and a 6K Odyssey G80HS model that can switch between 6K at 165 Hz and 4K at 330 Hz.
