Samsung Wallet expands to over 600 German cooperative banks

Samsung has entered into a long-term partnership with DZ BANK to expand the compatibility of Samsung Wallet in Germany. This collaboration allows millions of customers from over 600 cooperative banks to use their credit and debit cards via the app.

Supported institutions include Volksbanken Raiffeisenbanken, Sparda-Banken, PSD Banks, and other members of the Cooperative Financial Group. Users with compatible Galaxy smartphones and Galaxy Watches can now perform contactless payments using Mastercard and Visa cards issued by these banks.

Beyond banking cards, Samsung Wallet supports digital boarding passes, loyalty cards, and digital car keys. To mark the launch, Samsung is offering a promotional prize draw where registered users who add their cards by December 31, 2026, can win one of four €2,500 vouchers for the Samsung online shop.
