Samsung expands One UI 9 beta to dozens of Galaxy devices

Samsung is testing its upcoming One UI 9 software, built on Android 17, across a broad range of Galaxy devices. Internal firmware builds have been identified for flagship models such as the Galaxy S24, S25 and S26 series, the Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 foldables, mid‑range A‑series phones (including the rumored A07), and high‑end Tab S tablets. The public beta currently covers the Galaxy S26, while broader internal testing now includes older S‑series phones, various A‑series models, and upcoming tablets. Samsung plans to unveil the stable One UI 9 version at its Galaxy Unpacked event in London in July 2026, with rollout to older devices throughout the year. New features are expected to incorporate Gemini‑based AI assistance, enhanced security modes such as Automatic Lockdown and Maximum Restrictions, and refined UI animations. Leaked demo animations also suggest a possible future Galaxy Tab with a hole‑punch front‑camera, though Samsung has not confirmed a tablet redesign.
