Samsunspor sells Ali Badra Diabaté and prepares for Çorum FK derby

Samsunspor has announced the transfer of Ali Badra Diabaté to Al-Qadsiah in the Saudi Arabian 1st Division. The club, which acquired Diabaté for 100,000 euros, will receive a transfer fee of 8 million euros. The player expressed gratitude to the fans and the club for his development during his time in Samsun.

Ahead of their upcoming Trendyol Süper Lig match against Çorum FK, Samsunspor spokesperson Suat Çakır addressed the team's current form and squad status. Çakır dismissed criticisms from Sergen Yalçın, who suggested the team had weakened compared to last season, stating, “I do not take him seriously.”

Çakır emphasized that the club remains committed to its goal of finishing in the top five and is focused on long-term planning through young talent. Regarding the match against Çorum FK, the club reported several injuries and suspensions, including Elliot Watt, while players like Marius Mouandilmadji and Elayis Tavsan are expected to return to training.

Çorum FK manager Uğur Uçar stated that his team is prepared for the away match, noting that they have analyzed Samsunspor's weaknesses and intend to maintain their playing style to secure three points.
