Samuel Badillo removed as Tamaulipas subsecretary of Bienestar Social after performance review

On July 13, 2024, state officials announced the dismissal of Samuel Badillo Amador from his post as subsecretary of Bienestar Social in Tamaulipas. Badillo had assumed the subsecretary role in July 2024 after serving as coordinator of delegations within the same department since 2022. Over the weekend prior to his removal, he was hospitalized in a private clinic in Victoria, Tamaulipas, and later reported to be recuperating at home.
